MyReminders (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a service that helps you schedule and automatically send personalised messages to your contacts via WhatsApp, Email, and SMS. Our website is myreminders.world.

2. Information we collect

• Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account.
• Reminder data — names, dates, and personal notes you enter for your contacts.
• Contact details — phone numbers or email addresses of recipients you add, which are used solely to deliver the messages you schedule.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, via Google Analytics (anonymised IP).

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the MyReminders service.
• To send you product updates and early access notifications (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To deliver the messages you schedule on your behalf.
• To improve our service through aggregated analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

To operate the service we engage third-party providers for functions including cloud database and authentication, AI message generation, messaging delivery (SMS, WhatsApp, and email), and hosting. When you use AI message generation, contact names, occasion details, and any personal notes you have entered are sent to our AI service provider to produce a suggested message.

5. Data retention

Message content (the text of messages you schedule) is deleted from our database immediately after successful delivery. We retain only metadata — who the message was for, when it was sent, and via which channel — for your records and our service analytics.

Contact information, event dates, and personal notes are retained while your account is active. Account data is retained until you request deletion. You may request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@myreminders.world.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable law to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Request a portable copy of your data.
• Object to processing of your data.
• Be informed of any data breach affecting your data within 72 hours of us becoming aware.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Cookies

We use minimal cookies: session cookies required for the app to function, and Google Analytics cookies (anonymised). You can disable analytics cookies via your browser settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
